Reverend James B. Singleton the Pastor of the Tabor's Chapel CME Church in Ila, Georgia is very committed to the growth and development of its members.  He was appointed to serve Tabor's Chapel at the 2008-2009 annual conference in Atlanta, Georgia by Bishop Othal H. Lakey, presiding prelate of the Sixth Episcopal District of the Christian Methodist Episcopal Church.  His lovely wife Trina Yvette Singleton supports him in ministry; between them are three children, Tracy 24, Brittani 17, and Izayah 6.  Pastor Singleton answered the call to preach at the age of 33, and was licensed to preach by presiding Elder Reverend Albert Lee, III in a quarterly conference of the Hickory Grove CME Church in Dahlonega, Georgia in the year 2002 under the pastoral leadership of Reverend W. L. Whelchel. Rev. Singleton was ordained Deacon on July 23, 2004 and appointed Pastor of the St. James CME Church in Hartwell, Georgia.  In 2005, Rev. Singleton was ordained an Elder under the missionary rule and continued to serve at St. James for another 5 years during which time he was also admitted into full connection of the Christian Methodist Episcopal Church.
